How long do they last?

A 1-liter bottle typically runs 7–10 days. Larger plants may want two spikes or a bigger bottle.

Setup

Soak the spikes in water for 1–2 hours to open the clay's pores
Water your plant normally
Fill a long-neck bottle, invert it onto the spike, and push the spike at least ¾ of the way into the soil
